Hi I’m back. 🙂

So this past week I’ve started my new semester and been working and hanging out with Kasey and just having a lot to do. I have done my nails a few times but I haven’t been taking pictures because most of the time it’s been just to slap a color on and not have bare nails. From today on I’ll go back to those habits.

Later today I am going to see Kasey and spend some time with him. He is going to be teaching me one of my favorite songs on guitar because eventually I’d like to be able to play and sing it all on my own.

For workouts I’ve been mixing it up a lot all the time lately. I’ve been doing running and zumba and pilates and good old fashioned pushups and crunches. I have been feeling the need to dance again, so I think I’m going to start incooperating that into my workouts.

I’ve also been reading a new book on patience, it’s really nice. I think when I’m finished with it I might do a little review on here of it!

So this past weekend I painted my nails with a new nailpolish; Lots of Lux by Essie. I didn’t do that well of a paint job because I wasn’t in good lighting. Anyways, this is one of the most beautiful colors I’ve ever seen. I’m going to take it off soon though because it needs to be something I wear for occasions- it’s too busy of a color to me to be wearing all the time.

When I take this manicure off I’m going to use the other nail polish from Kasey! It’s a metallic and it’s gorgeous.

My workout plans for this week consist of trying to get back on my Blogilates plan again. I printed out the 4 week beginners plan the other week and got a good 4 days into it, but finals week came up and I had no time for anything but studying! 😦 So I want to start again on day 5 and try to get that habit going again. I’m really liking pilates. I love working out in general, but I’ve found that pilates is the perfect balance of everything I love to do when working out! So this plan that I’m doing is very fun for me. It’s a 6 day a week plan with each day focused on a different body part.

As for just regular plans, I’m just working and hanging out with Kasey. On Friday I get paid so that’s exciting…I get to finish up my Christmas shopping! I’m also starting a goal of having my hair look perfect all day this entire week. I know I put my hair through too much but it’s just the biggest thing that makes me feel good and confident throughout the day. I don’t care what other people think, I care what I think; when my hair is perfect I feel put together and like I can have a clean and organized day. I have such a bad habit of putting my hair up whenever I’m at home or sleeping in through any time I have to do it and the rest of the day I just feel gross and lazy. So hopefully this helps!

Personal Post!

I haven’t been sleeping well or feeling very rested when I do sleep well, so I’ve decided to start drinking chamomille tea at night and drinking green tea in the morning. I do typically drink coffee in the morning, but I know that tea has the reputation of waking you up and focusing you more than coffee.

I also switched up what I bought for my school lunches for the next two weeks. I’m alternating each day, but twice a week I am having a box of Chinese food. Grocery shopping yesterday, these certain cartons caught my eye and I really wanted to try something new. This brand has frozen cartons of the typical chinese entrees; general tso chicken, pepper beef, etc. It’s directions is to be put in the microwave for 4-5 minutes. I’m not going to even look at the nutritional information… but I sure hope it’s good!

The only other news I have is that on my recent shopping trip earlier this past weekend, I bought a lot of new hair products that I’m currently trying out! If I keep up using them often as I already have, I’m thinking of doing a review on a few of them.

Personal Post!

I am so mad! WordPress is being ridiculous today.  I made a Personal Post on a haul and I did a good job on it, too. 😦 Then it randomly deleted it half of the information in there and the closing paragraph as well even though I had saved drafts along the way of typing up the post and everything.  There was too much to repair on the post so I just deleted it.  They were all drugstore products and really nothing exciting, but I was still excited for this first haul.

Oh well.

I’m really sorry that I don’t have a great post for you this Monday because of WordPress’s screw up.

My plans for this week consist of a bit.  Tomorrow I have an orthodontist appointment and then I have work until around midnight.  Wednesday I have some housechores that need to be done and also a photoshoot with my friend Kristin! It’s going to be something I’ve never done before and I’m really excited to show you whatever the results may be! Thursday I have work in the evening and Friday as well.  I think that Thursday I will come up with my summer bucketlist… I don’t really know what else to do.  Friday I might do a photoshoot for a friend, but I’m not sure what her plans for that are yet so we’ll see. Saturday I am going swimming with my family and Sunday I think I will hang out with a friend. 🙂

Personal Post!

Happy Monday! 🙂 I guess I’ll just start with a basic update!

I’m on summer break right now, I got out of school on the 6th.  My plans for this summer consist of working, working and working!  I am taking a digital photography class online but other than that, I have nothing to do.  Speaking of working, I have a new job that I start this Thursday!

I do have some disappointing news.  Tomorrow at 9am I am getting my wisdom teeth removed.  Luckily I only have two!  However, I am still very, very nervous.  So stay tuned for Friday post for a picture that will include my puffy cheeks no doubt, and also an update on how the surgery went.  I will be sedated, so that’s good.  I’m still scared.  Very, very scared!  It has to happen to everyone sometime, though.  Better to get it done early in life I guess.

I have a goal!  Next year I am going to get a 4.0.  I am devoting myself to school because it’s what’s important.  I really want to achieve this goal to prove a point to myself.  So that’ll sure be a challenge!  I really think I need to make a few goals for this summer too, though.  Maybe next week I’ll include a Summer Bucket List in Monday’s personal post.

My goals for this week are just to survive and take it slow.  With the surgery and then starting work two days later, I just need to relax.  So hopefully that will ensure no reason not to blog! 😉

Personal Post!

Happy Monday!  It feels like Tuesday to me.  I’m always so confused about the weekdays!

Anyhow, this weekend on top of my shoot with my model, Logan, I did a shoot with my best friend (my soul sister ♥).  It was just a little thing for fun, but I think we got a few nice photos out of it!

 Other than that, there’s not much that’s happened this weekend or coming up this week.  I have training for my job on Wednesday!  That’s exciting.

Personal Post!

Hello again. 🙂

There’s not much to post about today.  (do I say that every time I post?) It’s true, though!  Since I posted Saturday, not much has happened at all.

The one thing that did happen was Sunday evening and night I crocheted a scarf! My model, Logan, brought an infinity scarf to our first shoot that you can see in this picture:

And it made me think! I am in love with scarves and anyone who knows me well knows that.  I don’t own any though, isn’t that sad?  I don’t own much of anything I love.  Except for Converse shoes.  Anyways, I decided I am going to start making scarves!  The season will be over in just a few months and I won’t be able to pull them off anymore.  ):  I will save them for next year, though!  When I say scarves… I like actual material scarves (not knitted or crocheted, a fabric) if they’re regular scarves or hanky scarves.  The only time I usually like them knitted or crocheted is if they are infinity scarves.  Which is good.  Since infinity is my favorite scarf right now.

Yeah, so I crocheted a scarf on Sunday since I was bored. 🙂 It’s white, it’s kind of short and it’s pretty wide, which makes me sad.  I wore it today and it was a little awkward, so I definitely know my next one will be thinner and longer.  After I got home from school today I tied it around one more time though and it looked so much better… wish I would’ve thought of that before I went to school!
