Who am I?
I am Kate. I am obviously the author of this blog. 🙂
I am a dancer, an actress, a photographer, a writer and a big sister. I love dance almost more than anything in the world. It’s such a personal and expressive art, and it takes passion to understand it.
I am also an actress. One of my favorite jokes that I made up has to do with acting. I have MPD, it’s called being an actor. Acting feels like magic to me. The adrenaline and wonderous feelings of stepping into another character and becoming them is quite joyous to me.
I am a new photographer. I have always had a slight obsession with photography, as everyone does. One day, while looking at one of my favorite photography sites, I realized that I wanted to be able to capture beautiful moments like that. So I called up one of my favorite dancer friends and asked her if she’d let me take pictures of her. That’s how it all started. My photography is called Espoir Photography, which means Hopeful Photography in French.
I am a writer. I’ve been writing my whole life and although I have not yet published a book, I hope to do that someday.
I am a big sister. Almost a year ago, my step mom (only noting her as my step mom so the age difference makes sense) and my dad had a wonderful little baby, Mo. She has bright blue eyes, blonde-red hair and the most contagious smile you’ll ever see. She has turned my life around and became almost everything I ever think about anymore. I love her to death.
Why am I blogging?
I had a previous blog for 2-3ish years called Kranberries Juicies. My mom is a blogger and I simply wanted a blog. So I brainstormed my little heart out and tried to think of something cute. That’s where Kranberries Juicies came from. A few weeks ago I started thinking about how much I’ve grown since I’ve started that blog. I just felt like I wasn’t the almost cartoon character blogger I had been when I started KJ. I’ve learned more about who I am, defined parts of what I am and I blog about growing up more than anything, now. So that’s what I think my blog should be about. Growing up, and everything blog-worthy in my life. So, to sum up my reasoning for blogging, I simply love to blog and wanted a fresh start from my old and childish blog.
What will I be blogging about?
Life. Growing up. School. Food. My performing arts. My little sister. My photography. Yeah, life.
